A Company to Behold

Parsons Dance is the pinnacle of American modern dance, and for one night they’re bringing their extraordinary show to Fairbanks. On Friday night, Hering Auditorium hosts the most well-traveled American contemporary dance company courtesy of the Fairbanks Concert Association. Parsons is a troupe of ten full-time dancers whose mission is to bring to life the works of choreographer David Parsons in an artful display of musical expression and unbridled athleticism. For those not familiar with the dance world, this will absolutely be a worthwhile introduction, and for those interested or involved in the scene already, this performance will reboot your passion for the craft. This presentation of contemporary dance is nothing short of a masterful combination of artistry, movement, music, discipline, and style.
