Only 6 Left!: Downtown Market

The summer is winding down, and with goes the ever-popular Downtown Market. This week there’s a special combo of treats on hand, starting with an up and coming local band, Young Fangs. The trio of incredibly talented musicians, made up of two brothers and a drummer, will be blasting the Plaza with their unique mix of indie rock tunes. Listen for a little Kings of Leon with a little Death Cab thrown in for good measure. From 5 – 7pm, Jennifer Jolis of Stone Soup Cafe will be in residence as this week’s Chef at the Market giving lessons and samples to all of us aspiring home chefs. Vendors galore will be on hand as well, from fresh veggies to local crafts. If you’ve let the summer months fly by without a visit, now is as good a time as any to get in on the action.
