This year’s event is on Saturday, June 18th from noon until midnight.
This “large outdoor gathering” is a community celebration of the summer solstice where we estimate 10,000 – 18,000 people will attend. 1st and 2nd Avenues will be closed to vehicular traffic.
1st Avenue will be programmed with community activities; 2nd Avenue will be the familiar street fair with food trucks, shopping, vendors, crafts and live entertainment.
This year we are accepting food vendors, retail vendors, campaign booths and non-profit booths.
Note: non-profits who are located / offices downtown or whose mission can be shown to benefit downtown or be connected to improving the quality of downtown take priority.
Booth costs have increased roughly 10% to account for known festival clean up costs and the anticipated costs of a more robust + through trash collection effort, where vendors no longer have to take their own trash to the dumpsters and the festival takes on that task.
Please note this is not a response to economic inflation, but rather improving the festival process.
